Although we love veggies around here, we don't always have the time to consume them in the amount that we need, especially when traveling. I've found an easy solution to this dilemma that not only tastes good, but is wonderful for you. Body Ecology has formulated a super green powder called "Green Vitality". It not only contains fermented vegetables such as Kale & Parsley, algae blends, a microflora blend, enzymes, and additions such as acerola extract and grape seed extract. It's perfect for part of your morning routine, traveling or when your 4 year old is not getting enough nourishment because of too many birthday parties or travel. In a blender mix together:
- 1-2 scoops of Vitality Super Green
- 8 oz. unsweetened Almond Milk
- Frozen no-sugar-added raspberries, blueberries, and/or strawberries
- Stevia OR Lakanto to taste
Start by slowly adding the Stevia or Lakanto to the almond milk. Taste to check sweetness. Once it's the desired sweetness, add to blender. Throw in some frozen fruit and blend. **NOTE: The berries change the color of the shake so it's not green, and add additional antioxidants! **
